Food Allergy

As part of the admission procedure in the hospital, the nurse asked the
patients if they were allergic to anything. If they were, the nurse
would print it on an allergy band placed on the patients' wrists.

Once when the nurse asked an elderly woman if she had any allergies, the
woman said she couldn't eat bananas.

Imagine the nurse's surprise when several hours later a very angry son
came out to the nurses' station demanding, "Who's responsible for
labeling my mother 'bananas'?"
